Location: Blended (all in-person sessions will be held in Irish Hospice Foundation, Morrison Chambers, 4th Floor, 32 Nassau Street, Dublin 2, D02 X627)

Start Date: 4 September 2025

Duration: September 2025 to March 2026, part time

Course Info: Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in association with Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) offer a Professional Certificate in Children and Loss.

It is a two-module postgraduate course, accredited at Level 9 by RCSI and National University of Ireland (NUI). It is designed to equip practitioners including social workers, counsellors, psychologists, and teachers or others working with children with the skills to understand bereavement and loss and its impact on children and young people and to support them on their grief journey.

Professionals who have an interest in further studies in the areas of children’s loss and grief are invited to apply.
