Caring for Carers: Creating Safe Spaces to Care for those who Experience Racism in the Workplace

12.30 - 2.00pm

online

€5 IASW members/€25 non-members

This webinar is part of the CPD programme of the IASW Anti-Racism Strategic Plan 2021-2023.

This session is conversational and reflective by nature within a safe space. It will begin with a brief presentation discussing existing dignity at work and anti-bullying policies in the workplace and how these may or may not adequately address experiences of racism in the workplace. Through discussion and shared experiences it aims to equip social work managers with the skills and strategies for addressing racism experienced by service users or social workers in the work place. The session is therefore a safe space to reflect on how best social work managers can support those who experience racism.
